Swap failure

Why is the swap failing?

Transactions may fail during the swap process.
notion image
  • Insufficient network fees
    • When a transaction occurs on the blockchain, network costs are incurred.
Please make sure you have enough tokens to pay for the network.
  • When network fees fluctuate greatly
    • If there is a large fluctuation in network fees at the time of transaction request and transaction execution, there may be cases of failure due to insufficient balance.
  • When price fluctuations are large (slippage)
    • Transactions may fail if the token's price fluctuation range exceeds the price fluctuation allowance that can be set in the swap progress window.
In the case of swapping tokens with large price volatility, it can be prevented by increasing the price volatility tolerance.
  • If it's a blockchain network problem
    • Transactions may fail due to blockchain network errors.
In this case, please try again later.

How to prevent swap failures

The transaction fee is deducted, but the swap may fail.๐Ÿ˜ฅ
Unfortunately, among the number of cases where swaps fail above, we cannot prevent transactions from failing due to blockchain network errors.
Let's take a look at how to prevent other cases.

Insufficient network fees

  • You just need to have enough tokens for the transaction (e.g. Ethereum when using the Ethereum network) before executing the swap. Try running the swap with a sufficiently higher holding than the expected network fee.

When price fluctuations are large

  • When you have enough tokens to use the network (e.g. Ethereum when using the Ethereum network), try increasing the tolerance for price fluctuations. (Default set value 2%)
  • Set the price fluctuation tolerance to 5% or more, and execute the swap while holding enough tokens for the corresponding fluctuation range.
